...and free movies!!

In the spirit of my being flat-ass broke and wanting to do free stuff, here's a list of Billy Wilder movies playing the next several Mondays at the National Theatre (which is where we saw RENT, and i only mention that b/c i had to check):

June 19: The Apartment*
June 26: Double Indemnity*
July 10: Some Like It Hot*
July 17: Stalag 17
July 24: Sabrina
July 31: The Lost Weekend
August 7: The Seven-Year Itch*
August 14: One, Two, Three

I've starred the ones i particularly want to see, although i love Billy Wilder and wil go see any and all of them. Anyone interested? I don't know what quick-type food is around there, but there's bound to be at least a Cosi or something where we could grab a quick bite. The only thing is that movies start at 6:30pm, which i know will probably knock Arista out of coming (stupid firm).

Anyone interested? C'mon, free Oscar-winning films! Marilyn Monroe! Men in drag! Vice of all kinds!!

PS -- don't forget Screen on the Green is coming up in late July. I think we had talked about The Band Wagon and To Have and Have Not. Those are also Monday nights but play later (whenever "sunset" is). Woohoo!!
